Helene Edelman

Helene Edelman joined the board before the pandemic at the invitation of PJ Handleland, whom she met through her volunteer work with the Arthritis Auxiliary. Helene, a retired English teacher who specialized in Mark Twain, initiated a salon series to bring medical professionals in the arthritis field together to discuss the disease. Living in San Francisco with her husband, she is impressed by the presentations from UCSF physicians and researchers and fully supports the mission of the R/ERRC Board, looking forward to becoming more involved.
