Medical School: Faculté de médecine Paris Descartes
Residency: UCSF

More about Charlotte

Clinical Interests: I am primarily interested in the overlap between rheum/derm diseases and I enjoy learning more every day on connective tissue diseases and vasculitis.
Research Interests: For my postdoc, I am working in Jimmie Ye's lab on multiplexed single cell multiomics of circulating immune cells in SLE, to study the epigenome, transcriptome and epitopes, both during flares and during times of lesser disease activity and remission. This will help to identify pathways activated during flares of the disease as well as constitutionally activated pathways that predate flares. I will also work on PhIP seq and yeast display samples from lupus patients to identify autoantibodies that may be associated or protect from flares.
Why did you choose UCSF?: I chose UCSF for many reasons: excellent clinical training with world-class clinical educators, diversity of patient populations through the 3 hospital systems, outstanding research with collaborative culture, and overall friendliness of the program leadership.
Hobbies and/or Fun Fact: I love outdoor, from walking around in the parks, biking, or hiking. I also enjoy trying different coffeeshops and eating the best croissant I have found in the US.
