Jeffrey Skinner

Jeffrey Skinner had a hip replacement in 1998 due to rheumatoid arthritis, which led to his introduction to Dr. Ken Fye for follow-up care. Ken became both Jeffrey's doctor and friend, and through him, Jeffrey met Dr. Eph Engleman, who recruited him to the R/ERRC Board. He has served on the board for over 20 years and finds it a rewarding experience, learning a great deal about rheumatic diseases while also supporting the research being done at UCSF to combat these illnesses.
