Michele Hanson

Michele Hanson has over 25 years of experience in banking and financial services, where she excelled in leading divisions within large asset managers and institutional banks. Recently, she transitioned to functional medicine, becoming a Certified Integrative Medicine Health Coach. Michele currently serves as Vice Chair of the Saint Francis Foundation, which supports Saint Francis Memorial Hospital (part of the UCSF Health family), and chairs the Advisory Board of BizWorld.org, a global initiative teaching entrepreneurial skills to children. As a patient who has personally experienced the effects of rheumatoid arthritis and lost her father to RA medication complications, Michele brings firsthand knowledge to her role on the R/ERRC Board. She is dedicated to working with medical professionals to uncover the root causes of the disease and explore effective treatments, including lifestyle interventions.
